A: Is this the first time?
B: No, but I don’t know if the first time counts.
A: What do you mean?
B: Well, first time was like, different, it’s hard to remember. Others I’ve talked to say first time doesn’t count if you can’t remember. I remember some of it…not everything.
A: What do you remember?
B: A funny smell.
A: You like it like that?
B: Yeah.
A: Do you like being called by your forename?
B: Sometimes, yes.
A: What’d they call you then? What’d they call you at home?
B: They call me (---).
A: Why is that?
B: I used to do that when I was a kid. Then one of my school buddies started to call me (---). Then my brother heard that (---) called me (---).
A: How important were the arts for you?
B: I used to believe that I was an artist because I felt different.
A: But was art a natural way of expression? Or is it possible…at all?
B: I was no good… I didn’t know what to express… I think I was more into specific individuals… the artist…I didn’t know what you were supposed to do.
A: When did you finally decide that this was what you wanted to do?
A: When did you realise that this was what you wanted to do?
B: After I had spoken to (---) and he explained that this was what I had done best…so far… and really did well.
A: How long will this go on?
B: Don’t know… some time.
A: How many times do you think you’ll endure?
B: Don’t know…another couple of rounds, maybe.
A: This isn’t something you’d do for a living… to make it your own thing?
B: No… I don’t think so.
A: What would you like to do then… more than anything else?
B: Maybe to sing… I got a beautiful voice.
